La serie H7606 consta de un circuito limitador de corriente, un transistor excitador, una tensi\u00f3n de referencia de precisi\u00f3n y un circuito de correcci\u00f3n de errores.  La serie es compatible con condensadores cer\u00e1micos de baja ESR. El circuito inversor del limitador de corriente funciona como protecci\u00f3n contra cortocircuitos y como limitador de corriente de salida para la patilla de salida.
